Less is More-In the frame

This week's Less is More challenge is to make a one layered card with a frame somewhere in it. I bought some ear rings in the sales and thought the mini washers would make a kind of frame! I coloured the image with wax crayons-just can't seem to keep away from them now!

    Beautiful card. I really like the effect of the wax crayons - have you tried the ironing technique that was in Craft Stamper a few issues ago? It looked great as you could melt the crayon under parchment paper to blend the colours. I love the stamp you have used and the washer 'frame' you have created :)

    Well I must admit that this is not like any frame that I have previously seen and it's a most singular use of wax crayons too... all very interesting!

    This is very unusual - but I rather like it. The wax colouring gives some texture to the image, and the washer frame is unique!

    Lovely card. I had to get a close up to confirm what you've used to colour it. What a wonderful surprise to see crayons used in this way. Awesome.
